Letter: Fresh faces in GOP
Attention Republican and independent voters: There’s a chance to vote in some new and energetic faces up and down the Republican primary ballot on Sept. 9.
Republicans’ best choices to top the ticket this fall are Andrew Hemingway for governor and Marilinda Garcia for Congress. Their youth and energy and principled experience will appeal to a wide range of voters.
Republicans want to put their best candidates forward in the fall, and they aren’t always incumbents.
This is most clear in state Senate Districts 16 and 17.
Jane Comier of Hooksett is hoping to represent Bow, Candia, Dunbarton, Hooksett and Manchester Wards 1, 2 and 12. Jane’s excellent voting record in the New Hampshire House has earned her the title of the best candidate in this race. Howard Pearl is the best candidate to represent Allenstown, Chichester, Deerfield, Epsom, Loudon, Northwood, Nottingham, Pembroke, Pittsfield, Raymond, and Strafford. Howard is a gentleman farmer from Loudon who is a take-charge kind of guy who gets things done successfully. He is the kind of guy who will do most of the work and not care who gets credit for it.
Jane and Howard are just what we need in the New Hampshire Senate.
