Hi 28° | Lo 3°

Letter: Running in District 20

To the citizens of Pembroke and Chichester: I am honored to announce my candidacy for the office of state representative in Merrimack County District 20.

I have been a resident of New Hampshire for nearly 40 years and a Pembroke resident since 2003, and have worked in the community as a high school counselor at Pembroke Academy from 1989 to 2008.

While at PA, I was active in the Educational Association of Pembroke (part of the NEA) as an officer for many years and as a negotiator for a number of years. I have also served on the Pembroke School Board, appointed in early 2013 to fill a vacancy and elected to a two-year term in March.

Recently there has been positive and substantial change in Concord, and my goal is to represent Chichester and Pembroke fairly and honestly.

I feel that working with all aspects of government, administrative and legislative, in a bipartisan manner is the best way to achieve success.

I look forward to being actively involved in the elective process.
