Letter: Ardinger is a natural leader
Kass Ardinger would make an excellent New Hampshire state senator, and we enthusiastically support her candidacy.
Intelligent, compassionate and fair-minded, Kass is a New Hampshire native who cares deeply about our great state and the well-being of all its citizens.
No one will work harder to ensure that matters before the Senate are thoughtfully considered with full and fair input from all corners.
Kass’s service on the Concord School Board is but one example of her commitment to the community and the welfare of its citizens, but it is an important one.
Others have written letters that describe how Kass worked tirelessly and effectively in leading the community through the painful but necessary process of consolidating and improving the city’s schools. We could not agree more. We would add that it was Kass who immediately took the initiative to find ways to offer good quality after-school programming in the new school facilities.
As a direct result of Kass’s efforts, the school district has partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Concord, which last year ran a successful after-school program at the Christa McAuliffe School, providing supervised homework time and safe, structured and unstructured games and activities to more than 60 children who had not previously been served by after-school programming.
Plans are in the works to expand this programming to other school locations. Kass is a natural leader who will make a superb senator from District 15.
