Letter: Remarkable care

Our little Yorkshire terrier, Roosevelt Grier (Rosey for short), passed away recently of acute renal failure. He became an important part of our family 15½ years ago when he was just 9 weeks old.

The reason I’m writing this letter is to recognize the remarkable medical care Rosey received at Cilley Veterinary Clinic in Concord from Dr. Tom Heck, veterinary tech Brooke Rapp and their colleagues. Everyone who came in contact with Rosey extended great measures of devotion. I also want to thank Capital Area Veterinary Emergency Service, where Rosey spent the past weekend receiving medical care and loving attention.

Grateful thanks to all who gave Rosey, Kay and me their special caring.
