Letter: Ad nauseam
It seems election season is in full swing already. Some commercials are incredible.
The pharmaceutical companies’ lobbyists are working overtime trying, still, to get the Affordable Care Act rescinded. They sure don’t like being hit in the wallet. (The rest of us know what it’s like, now it’s their turn.)
The Koch brothers are trying to convince us how wonderful they are. We create jobs! (Isn’t that what the robber barons used to say?)
The out-of-state money attacking Sen. Jeanne Shaheen and Reps. Carol Shea-Porter and Annie Kuster are interesting. One seems like a mass market ad “the money” can use in multiple states by simply changing the name and face.
The Scott Brown ads confuse me. Has September already come, and did he win it?
New Hampshire voters are facing incredible issues. We need level-headed politicians, not leaders that hold party above constituents and the betterment of our nation.
We need leaders who understand climate change is very real; we need hydro power coming to our grid; and we need ethical people who have the wherewithal to stand up and say what they mean and mean what they say.
