Letter: The beauty of Henniker

I love being in a small picturesque town like Henniker. I was making dinner, husking the corn that my hubby and I bought at he local farm stand, and it occurred to me how lucky my husband and I are to pull over on the road and get some yummy corn and veggies on a gorgeous day in Henniker.

But it doesn’t stop there. My husband gave me $10 to pay for corn and veggies, so I ran up the hill – no one was there. It was “on the honor system!”

How cool is that!

The New Hampshire town we moved to some 25 years ago still exudes peace, pride and perseverance. Thank you, Henniker, for being so amazing.
