Letter: The truth about Annie
I’m not certain what is prompting letters to the editor stating that Annie Kuster doesn’t connect with constituents, but nothing could be further from the truth.
She regularly holds telephone town halls and hosts roundtable discussions with veterans, seniors and students. The “tele-town halls” can reach more than 1,000 households.
Kuster has been a champion for women – and thus, families. Unlike those who oppose her, she is addressing and supporting pay equity and a woman’s right to choose. Perhaps inaccurately focusing on her connecting with constituents is a way to avoid discussing the difficult issues?
