Letter: Ardinger is independent
Dear fellow District 15 voters:
As the Sept. 9 Democratic primary election for District 15 state Senate draws near, I would like to share with you my reasons for supporting Kass Ardinger.
I have known Kass both professionally and personally for the past 20 years. As a 30-year veteran teacher in the Concord School District, I have observed her leadership skills and problem solving abilities as one of the leaders of a large diverse organization.
The district has more than 900 employees, plant equipment issues and thousands of students.
I have observed Kass make decisions that advance many important educational goals, while also keeping her eye on the bottom line for the taxpayers of the city.
As a decision maker, I believe Kass will be an independent thinker.
Over the years, I have seen her dive into and master various subjects and then consider all the pros and cons.
Once informed, she makes up her mind independent of outside pressure. Personally, Kass is a very caring, thoughtful, dependable friend and neighbor.
We have strong family ties that developed when our oldest children were in preschool. Kass is the type of person who will be a friend for life.
In summary, these skills and traits are just a few of the qualities that describe Kass Ardinger. I urge you to consider them and join me in supporting her in the primary on Sept. 9.
