Letter: Cormier is a real tax fighter

My wife, Jane Cormier, is running for the state Senate in District 16. Jane spent this past session in the New Hampshire House working tirelessly to advance the cause of small government and fiscal conservatism in our state.

Our two children, Catherine and Christopher, are also working to bring Jane’s message of constitutional conservatism to Hooksett and beyond.

She is a fearless supporter of our federal and state constitutions. Jane has received “A” ratings from the NRA, Americans For Prosperity, New Hampshire Families for Education, New Hampshire Federation of Independent Business and House Republican Alliance.

She has been endorsed by former U.S. senator Gordon Humphrey, former New Hampshire House speaker Bill O’Brien and many others. It is time we have a state senator whose votes back up their rhetoric.

And if there is one thing I can attest to, Jane will listen to her constituents and will keep her no-tax pledge.

Sen. David Boutin has not kept his pledges and though he maintains he is a “tax fighter,” he co-sponsored the gas tax and voted for Obama’s Medicaid expansion. He continues to vote against right-to-work legislation and has an unreliable record on our Second Amendment.

It is time for a change. You can check out Jane’s website at janecormier.org. Let’s vote for a senator we can count on. Vote for Jane Cormier in Senate District 16.
