Letter: Feltes dedicated, passionate
I am writing to enthusiastically support Dan Feltes for state Senate in District 15, which covers Concord, Hopkinton, Henniker and Warner.
Dan displays a passion for public service that is truly admirable. His eight years of experience at New Hampshire Legal Assistance will serve him well as a state senator.
He has already dealt with many of the issues confronting New Hampshire as a lobbyist representing low-income families. He has forged good working relationships with legislators on both sides of the aisle.
Dan’s cradle-to-career philosophy to education recognizes the importance of starting early by investing in our children with all-day kindergarten and continuing that commitment with affordable college tuition.
He also recognizes the importance of attracting and keeping young families in New Hampshire by dealing with important issues such as flexible family leave, affordable housing and affordable health insurance.
Dan will work on ways to create new and innovative jobs, and he also understands the connection between an energy-efficient economy and the overall health of New Hampshire’s economy and the environment.
I have personally known Dan for several years and have always been impressed with his character, dedication and passion for his work.
I know Dan is running for state senate because he feels he can have a greater impact bringing positive change by being an integral part of the legislative process.
I would encourage you to join me in casting your vote for Dan Feltes for state Senate in the primary Sept. 9.
