Letter: End the negativity
Kass Ardinger and Dan Feltes, please let the all-day kindergarten issue go. Dan is technically correct, based on the school board minutes, in his assertion that Kass did not support providing space in the three new schools for all day kindergarten. Kass has explained her reasoning on the issue. Second guessing her now on the issue is nonproductive.
One of the things I found refreshing before the kindergarten issue, which both are blowing out of proportion, was the respect and lack of negativity between the candidates.
Kass and Dan are both intelligent, civic minded and good people.
We are fortunate to have good choices on the ballot. My hope is they will stop the negative ads and again focus on what they bring to bring to this race.
I found one of Kass Ardinger’s mailings over the top. To suggest Dan Feltes’s politics will tear our community apart is absurd. Voters need to assess Kass and Dan on what they bring to the table in terms of skills as well as specific and constructive ideas they will promote in the Senate.
