Letter: Vote for me, Northfield
I am running for Northfield selectman. As a lifelong resident and a past town employee of almost 10 years, I have firm roots in this community and municipal experience. While serving as selectman from 2007-10, I served on the planning board, zoning board, budget committee, capital improvement committee, recycling committee and budget committee. I have also served on the Tilton-Northfield Old Home Day Committee for over seven years.
As a selectman, I will bring experience, knowledge and dedication back to the board. It is important for the selectmen to work with the residents of Northfield by evaluating our current and future needs. We can do that by making smart choices. I will work hard to find creative ways to increase revenue, decrease spending and practice smart government.
Northfield needs a dedicated, experience leader who is approachable and willing to listen. Our community is best served when people work together. I look forward to working with the residents, employees and other leaders in Northfield to make this a better, more affordable community for all of our citizens, businesses, employees and visitors.
To be a good leader, you must also be a good servant. I ask that you vote for me on March 12. I am the right person, at the right time, for the right reason.
Let’s face it, experience matters!
