Since I don’t have any children or grandchildren in our school system, discussion of teacher salaries brings mixed feelings. But when I saw what Rosemarie Michaud had to say, I just had to write. On the front page of the March 10 Sunday Monitor, Michaud says, “People that do work that they love, they don’t have to get all these big increases.” That is a very warped perspective on the whole thing.
