Letter: Questions for sheriffs
Colorado’s governor recently signed into statute two bills that restrict the use of guns in Colorado. Sheriff John Cooke of Weld County, Colo., told his local newspaper he will not enforce what he believes are unconstitutional statutes. He joins 340 other sheriffs who have already publicly stated that they will not enforce gun laws they believe are unconstitutional.
The only New Hampshire sheriff to publicly make a similar announcement is Grafton County sheriff.
The question to be asked is when will the other nine sheriffs in New Hampshire make a similar announcement?
