Cartoons: Steve Sack honored with 2013 Pulitzer for editorial cartooning

Steve Sack of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, an editorial cartoonist whose work appears regularly in the Monitor through syndication with Cagle Cartoons, was recently awarded the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning.

Sack was cited by the judges for “his diverse collection of cartoons, using an original style and clever ideas to drive home his unmistakable point of view.”

Sack has been the Star Tribune’s editorial cartoonist since 1981 and was a Pulitzer finalist in 2004.

Here we share a small collection of Sacks’s work.
