Letter: Let the homeless stay

I am writing on behalf of all the homeless people whom the state wants to move from their homes by the river. That is the only place they know of as home. They should be able to stay there and not be moved. As a solution, the city could turn half of the buildings that are empty into low-income homes for the homeless.

I was homeless in Keene, so I know how they feel. They feel hurt and angry that they have to move, and it’s not right. They have the right to live the way they want. I thought New Hampshire was a free state.

Please help these people. Some are my friends, and I’m a concerned friend of the homeless.
