Letter: State House gridlock

Our legislators in Concord seem to be taking a page from their counterparts in Washington, D.C. They can’t get anything done because they can’t work together. I’m tired of our elected representatives playing political games with real people’s lives here and in Washington.

We deserve better leadership than this. We deserve lawmakers who can push politics aside long enough to move our state forward and not punish New Hampshire citizens in the process.

We are supposedly the best represented people; in relation to the size of our legislature. But it doesn't work that way. As you say, little to nothing gets done. Or done right, I'd like to add. Our legislature is too big, it ought to be reduced in size by 50-75%. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, but when it is broken, it should be fixed quickly.
