Letter: Thanks for nothing, Comcast

After many, many years of continually raising rates and deleting channels from basic TV service, indifferent mega-behemoth profit machine Comcast is encrypting its service, requiring another box. Which it will provide for no charge. For two years. After that, we pay. More. And more. Again. And again. Ain’t monopolistic capitalism great?

Try Direct TV. You need a box on every TV as well. And wait to see what happens to your bill when you roll off their introductory offer. It almost doubles. Oh...and let's hope it doesn't rain or snow....you won't be watching too much TV then.

Remember when they were supposed to bring competition for cable in to NH?
