Letter: Our happiness gone
I have cried my share of tears over the tragedy of the Boston Marathon and the life of little Martin, who will never grow older than 8 years old. My heart goes out to the other people who died and all the people who lost their limbs because of two terrorists who came to this country to go to school on our dime and thanked our country by causing this tragedy.
You talk about dark souls; these two didn’t have any souls. Their mother’s poisonous soul seems to be the guide to the poison in their minds. I also think our FBI and CIA are all out to lunch and should be fired because they were warned by the Russians that these two were terrorists and ignored it. How dumb can they get?
I can’t believe that the younger live brother is going to get a trial with lawyers and all his rights and then some. This country bends over backward to make sure the criminal gets all his rights and day in court. Who stands up for the victims? All the people who are now cripples, who will stand up for them?
I know that our Boston Marathon will still go on and be “Boston Strong,” but it will forever be marked by this horror when it was always such a happy time to look forward to in spring. I hate those two for taking this time away from us! I desperately want the happiness we had before all this hatred.
