Letter: No Ken Ken, no ‘Insider’
What happened to Thursday’s Ken Ken puzzle? Hope it’s just a one-day slip-up.
While I’m at it: Where’s the Concord Insider? It comes to me prior to Market Days and maybe another occasion or two, but I need it every week. I shop in Concord. I dine in Concord. I attend events in Concord – and I would guess a large percentage of the others of us in the provinces who subscribe to the Monitor do so as well. Do we pay less for our Monitor subscription than those who do receive the Insider? If not, you owe us: Let’s have the Insider (my preference) or a reduction in subscription price. It’s only fair.
(Indeed, Thursday’s Ken Ken puzzle was mistakenly omitted from yesterday’s paper. You can find it today on Page C3. As for the Concord Insider, it is distributed to home-delivery Monitor subscribers in Concord. So far, at least, the increased cost of production necessary to deliver it beyond the city is prohibitive. You can find it free in shops and boxes in and around Concord. Ed.)
