Letter: Disgust, anger, betrayal
As a U.S. Army veteran of two Iraqi Freedom tours, blood brother of a two-time Enduring Freedom veteran and brother-in-arms with millions of American combat veterans, I believe your choice of poetry on the top of Page B1 Wednesday was vile. Perhaps if other mentions of 9/11 existed in your newspaper, it would be excusable. But this was the only acknowledgment of one of the worst days in our nation’s existence. Shame on everyone involved in. Freedoms vanish when cowards allow it. Osama Bin Laden is dead.
