Letter: Testerman for Senate
I believe the next election cycle to be possibly the last that we will be able to influence the future of America by our vote.
Our country was founded on the rule of law. Rule of law is based on the 10 words from the Book that our founding fathers read and believed. “All” can pursue happiness as described by President John F. Kennedy, “Ask not what your country can do for you . . .”
Soon after Kennedy’s death, Washington pursued an opposite course, a course of entitlements and the not-so-great society but still greater than the rest of the world, for now.
I want a U.S. senator who understands our Constitution and understands rule of law. I want a senator who does not put her finger to the wind of popular opinion, nor checks the latest polls to determine how to vote. I want a real person, not a politician. I want Karen Testerman as our next U.S. senator.
Some ask, “Can Karen win?” I ask, liberal, conservative or independent: Voting for a person who can win, how is that working for ya? Vote on principles and those of principle and leave winning to the author of rule of law. See for yourself at draftkaren.com.
