Letter: Stolen pumpkin, mums
It is sad day indeed when one can not decorate for the holidays. Every year our pumpkins get smashed over the weekends leading up to Halloween. So we have been bringing them in. But recently not only was our pumpkin stolen but our mums were as well. Really? Right off of our steps. I know we are not talking about a lot of money here – it’s the principle.
Why do kids (I’m assuming here) feel the need to steal other people’s holiday decorations? Now I don’t dare to go out and buy more to replace what was taken so those can get stolen or smashed as well. And I shouldn’t have to bring in plants and pumpkins every single night. People need a hobby other than stealing, if you ask me.
