Letter: Ayotte did the right thing
To Sen. Kelly Ayotte: Since we took up residence in New Hampshire in 1994, we have not missed an election. We even surprise ourselves as “undeclared” voters that we vote in more Republican primaries (where the action is) than Democratic (usually boring).
We write you at this time to commend you for doing the right thing by voting in favor of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act.
Most of your votes have been too far right (even Tea-Partyish), and we have been bad-mouthing you to our fellow regular voters. Turnabout is fair play, so when you vote more in line with the majority views of your constituents, you are to be commended.
With respect to Obamacare, how about fixing it, rather than de-funding it? Cancer patients cannot wait for the Republican “common sense” health care reform, which we voters have yet to see.
