Letter: In poor taste
I was a bit stunned with the Monitor’s choice of one of the album covers used to illustrate the Dec. 12 Forum piece titled “The gift of tunes.” The piece was well written with many genres covered and, being a fan of most music styles, I enjoyed the read. But the CD cover of Wildewoman was a bad choice to publish in a paper whose readership includes children, including my 13-year- old daughter, who pointed out “That’s pretty sick for a newspaper to print.” This is not a critique against the band, and I support the First Amendment. I just hope the Monitor understands that it’s audience are children as well as adults.
