Letter: Important film

Red River Theatres in downtown Concord had three films playing. I chose what looked like a challenging subject, that of the Palestine-Israeli land settlement issues.

What I was to learn from the film was a firsthand account of a family with four sons, living as peasants in a small town named Bilal.

I am grateful for the hard work the theater, its staff and mission bring to this community. Five Broken Cameras is a story, rendered as a work of art. Thank you to Barry Steeleman and those who selected to show this film.
