Letter: Making sense of vouchers

The executive director of the Network for Educational Opportunity feels the recent superior court decision supporting the separation of church and state is ordering her to “discriminate against people for their beliefs” and she doesn’t think “this makes good sense.” Suppose some parents wanted taxpayer help in order for their children to study the Koran or the Talmud or the Book of Mormon or even Scientology. Would she be okay with that?

If not, she may want to rethink her position regarding what “makes good sense.”
