Letter: Never again

What I would most like to see as a result of the recent turmoil in Washington is a pledge by the leaders of both parties in both houses of Congress that they will never again use a government shutdown as a negotiating tactic.

The solution has already been passed in May by the Responsible Republicans - The Full Faith and Credit Act. http://beta.congress.gov/bill/113th/house-bill/807

Perhaps one would think that never again would America cause generational theft by steeling from their children. Burying the next generation with so much debt that our children's quality of life will be worse than our own for the first time in history. Obama's presidency is going to be know as the "Me Presidency" for its selfishness.
