Report to Readers: How’d he get that shot?!
This morning’s front page was dominated by a large photo of the Rock ’N Race in downtown Concord last evening. Photographer Taehoon Kim captured the crowd of thousands running down Main Street from what appeared to be a bird’s eye view.
How the heck did he do that?
The photo attached explains all. Kim, a new Monitor photo intern, positioned himself on the roof of 18 N. Main St. – with permission from landlord Mark Ciborowski. Yikes. He’s braver than I would have been. Behind him, taking this photograph, was Monitor Photo Editor Alexander Cohn. If the crowd shot didn’t make you queasy, this picture of Kim just might.
