Mandy Fraser teaches Elizabeth Barwell how to spin Angora rabbit hair during a knitting and spinning group for all ages that meets at the Slusser Senior Center in Hopkinton yesterday. Fraser raises Angora rabbits, and the wool Barwell was spinning came from her rabbit Jasper. Fraser and her friend Joell Gaskill started the knitting group 10 years ago. The group, whose members jokingly refer to themselves as “yarn snobs,” knits primarily with natural fibers. They meet Tuesday evenings at 5:30 and always welcome anyone to come.
