Students picking up their packets for the new school year at Rundlett Middle School in Concord could also pick up a new backpack, a full lunch bag, clothing, school supplies, toiletries and books at the Ready to Learn Fair on Wednesday. They also enjoyed free back-to-school haircuts and immunizations and could chat with a nutritionist from Plymouth State University. The event was organized by paraprofessionals Lynn Reyes, Caroline Keane and Nicole Newman, who all work at Rundlett and started planning the fair in the first months of the year.

Normally, it's a gamble to allow a bald guy to cut your hair; but in this case, it's a push.
