More than 100 fifth- through eighth-graders descended upon White Park at dusk on Friday, March 29, to participate in the flashlight Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Concord Parks & Recreation Department. Volunteers from the senior center put candy in more than 1,000 plastic eggs, which Laura Bryant and Tom Warner of Parks and Rec scattered over the hills overlooking the park just before sunset. The hunt also included three golden eggs, and whoever found those won an Easter basket.
