First generation farming

Jennifer Lamper owns the Twist of Fate farm in Dunbarton. Lamper's ex-business partner left the farm last year, and this is her first year farming alone. In addition to the farm work, Lamper also works a full time job and she says this has been her hardest year yet. She scaled back her turkey operation to 210 turkeys, and all have been purchased for Thanksgiving. Her farm is one of the few in the state that offers free-range turkeys.
