Tap camp

Aspiring dancers in Camp Shaker’s tap camp spent a week learning tap dance routines for a production of The Wizard of Oz. Teacher Diane Levesque and the 12 girls in her class say they love tap dancing for everything from the cool sounds the shoes make to the steps specific to tap. The tap camp, held at Concord’s Shaker Road School, ended Friday with two performances, complete with costumes, sets and even a dancing Toto.
