Monarchs get 32 saves from Berube in 2-1 victory

Goalie J.F. Berube made 32 saves, including 15 in the second period, to lead the Manchester Monarchs past the visiting Worcester Sharks, 2-1, last night.

Manchester (27-12-2-4) took a 1-0 lead 14:36 into the game when Brian O’Neill beat Worcester goalie Harri Sateri. Nick Shore and Zach O’Brien had the assists. The Monarchs upped their lead to 2-0 when O’Brien scored 6:20 into the third period, assisted by Shore.

Worcester (19-16-3-1) scored at 11:46 of the third on a Matt Tennyson power-play goal.
