Taking advantage of the nice weather, John Gardener and his son, John Gardener Jr., took their boat out to fish on Lake Winnepocket in Webster on Saturday. The two were fishing for bass and had some luck earlier in the day. William Stevens and John Ziakas fished from shore. Ziakas said he fishes every day, rain or shine, and Stevens sometimes likes to keep him company.
