Fisher Cats take 2-0 win before second game suspended due to rain

One win, one waiting

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats won the first game of a doubleheader against the New Britain Rock Cats yesterday, 2-0, before rain forced the suspension of the second game with the Fisher Cats trailing 2-0 entering the third.

In the victory, Radhames Liz pitched a complete game to lift New Hampshire. He allowed only two hits while walking none and striking out eight.

Mike Crouse homered to lead the Fisher Cats at the plate, and finished with two hits altogether.

Jon Berti also had two hits, and Mike McDade drove in the other New Hampshire run.
