Sunset League playoffs
The Sunset League is in the first round of playoffs, with the third game taking place today. Last night, Grappone took the 1-0 win over Glove Works, and Century 21 lost to the Reds, 8-4. The NH Lightning softball team will be hosting tryouts for the 2015 season at Donati Field in Hooksett. All divisions (10-U through 18-U) will be held July 30 and July 31 at 6 p.m., while there will be additional tryouts Aug. 9 for 10-U (10 a.m.), 12-U (noon), 14-U (2 p.m.) and 16-U (4 p.m.). City ‘B’ tennis
The Concord City “B” Men’s Tennis Tournament will be played the week of Aug. 4. The tournament, held at Bow Brook Club, is intended for players with a maximum rating of 4.0 according to the USTA guidelines. The singles registration fee is $20, while doubles is $30 per team. N.H. Bobcats travel baseball program is offering camps at Sanel Park in Concord for players ranging from T-ball through age 13. The session runs Monday-July 31 from 9 a.m.-noon. Concord Family YMCA and Seacoast United Express are offering specialty sports camps for kids who have completed grades 3-8.
