Fisher Cats shut out by Senators, 3-0
John Anderson struck out seven over six innings and Andy Burns had two hits, but the New Hampshire Fisher Cats lost to Harrisburg, 3-0, last night, snapping the Senators’ losing streak at three.
Anderson (3-3) allowed six hits and three runs (two earned) while walking one. Blake McFarland and Tyler Ybarra each pitched a scoreless inning of relief for New Hampshire (50-57). The Fisher Cats had just six hits, all singles, and had only two at-bats with runners in scoring position (they went 0-for-2).
The four-game series concludes today at 2 p.m., with right-hander Scott Copeland (6-7, 4.04) pitching for the Fisher Cats against righty Paolo Espino (4-3, 4.11) starts.
