Concord’s Gaudet named captain of NH Shrine team

Concord’s Marc Gaudet, who helped lead the Crimson Tide to an undefeated state championship football season last fall, was named one of four captains for Team New Hampshire for tomorrow’s Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl game.

“Honored to be a captain of the NH shrine team this year. Thank you to all my bruuthers and let’s get this Saturday boys #603,” tweeted Gaudet, who joins Jason Martinez of Salem, Alex Parenteau of Keene and Eric Waddington from Dover as captains.

In other news, Bishop Brady’s Matt Tetu suffered a concussion during practice on Tuesday and won’t be able to play in the game, which kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at Dartmouth College’s Memorial Field.
