Bicycles take over streets around White Park for Concord Criterium

The Concord Criterium hits the streets around White Park today, beginning with youth races at 8:30 a.m. and culminating with the feature event – a men’s Pro/1/2 39.6-mile race – at 5:15 p.m.

In between are races for men 45+ (18 miles); women 4 and junior girls 15-18 (13.2 miles); men 5 and junior boys 15-18 (24 miles); men 55+/65+ (14.4 miles); 500-meter sprints for junior girls 14-18, junior boys 14-18, open men and open women; men 35+ (24 miles); men 4 (18 miles); women Pro/1/2/3 (26.4 miles); and men 3 (34.8 miles).

The start/finish line is on White Street near the parking lot, with the 1.2-mile course taking right-hand turns onto Washington, Centre, Liberty, Franklin, Charles and Beacon streets before finishing back on White.
