Fisher Cats get swept by Richmond, 6-2 and 4-3, in doubleheader

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats went down in both of their games of their doubleheader with the Richmond Flying Squirrels yesterday, dropping a 6-2 decision before getting clipped, 4-3, in the nightcap.

New Hampshire got within 3-2 but couldn’t close the gap in the first game. In the second, the Fisher Cats had a 3-2 lead before Richmond rallied for the tying and winning runs in the sixth.

Kevin Nolan had two hits while Andy Burns and Yusuf Carter both brought in runs in the first game, and Matt Newman drove in all three runs in the second game.
