Sources: Merrimack’s Stewart replacing Tortorella at UNH

According to several sources, the University of New Hampshire men’s hockey team is hiring Glenn Stewart to fill the associate head coaching job that was opened when Jim Tortorella announced he was resigning.

Stewart, the associate head coach at Merrimack College, played at UNH and was an assistant captain his senior year. He worked with both the power play and penalty kill units with the Warriors.
