Slump continues

McElhinney made 25 saves in recording his league-leading ninth shutout of the season. Manchester goalie Martin Jones allowed two goals in the first period before settling down and keeping the Falcons off the board the rest of the way. He finished with 29 saves.

Manchester dropped to 29-27-3-4, third in the Atlantic Division with 65 points.
