The Portland Pirates scored four unanswered goals, rallying from a 3-2 deficit to beat the Manchester Monarchs, 6-3, last night.

Linden Vey sandwiched two goals around one from teammate Tanner Pearson to give Manchester (31-29-3-4) a 3-2 lead early in the second period. Portland (36-25-3-2) tied it heading into the third, went ahead on a goal by Nick Johnson early in the period, then iced it with two more in the final five minutes.

Pirates goalie Mark Visentin made 42 saves as Manchester outshot Portland, 45-36.
