Felix Doubront pitched six-hit ball for five scoreless innings, and the Boston Red Sox beat the Minnesota Twins, 4-2, yesterday in the spring training finale for both teams.

The left-hander walked one, hit a batter and struck out six.

Twins right-hander Mike Pelfrey gave up four runs and nine hits in 3 2∕3 innings.

The Red Sox got a run in the first when Jacoby Ellsbury led off with a single, took second on Dustin Pedroia’s groundout and scored on Mike Napoli’s single.

With two outs in the second, Daniel Nava’s single scored Will Middlebrooks, who singled and stole second base.

Shane Victorino’s two-run single in the fourth chased Pelfrey, who is trying to come back from Tommy John surgery.
