Binghamton roughs up Fisher Cats, 15-2

Fisher Cats pitchers combined to allow nine runs on six hits and seven walks in the fifth and sixth innings alone in a 15-2 loss to the Binghamton Mets yesterday.

Deck McGuire (1-2) took the loss, struggling in his toughest outing of the season. He was responsible for eight of the Mets’ runs, surrendering six hits while issuing a career-high six walks.

Ricardo Nanita hit his second home run of the series for New Hampshire. He scored both Fisher Cats runs and finished with two hits, as did Kevin Nolan and Sean Ochinko, who drove in the second run.
