Glenn’s home run spurs Fisher Cats to comeback win

Brad Glenn’s two-run home run helped lift the New Hampshire Fisher Cats to an 8-5 win over the Reading Fightin Phils in the start of a six-game homestand.

Glenn, who had three RBI, homered in the fourth to begin the comeback from a 4-0 deficit. The Fisher Cats scored twice in the sixth and four times in the seventh to take the lead, with Ryan Schimpf (2-for-4, two RBI), Clint Robinson (1-for-2, RBI) and Adam Loewen (2-for-3, RBI) leading the charge.

Chorye Spoone allowed no earned runs in four innings of relief to get the win for New Hampshire.

The teams meet again today at 5:05 p.m.
