Fisher Cats fall one run short in 3-2 loss to Trenton
Adam Loewen went 2-for-4 with an RBI, but was thrown out at the plate trying to score the tying run in the New Hampshire Fisher Cats’ 3-2 loss to Trenton last night.
Loewen was trying to score on a passed ball when he was cut down to end the game. The Fisher Cats trailed 3-0 going into the final inning, but scored first when Loewen singled in Clint Robinson and then again when John Tolisano’s bases-loaded walk brought in Ryan Schimpf.
Starting pitcher Ryan Tepera (4-2) allowed one run in five innings but was still saddled with the loss.
