UNH’s O’Neill, Harris named to Preseason All-America team


A pair of University of New Hampshire football players have been named to The Sports Network FCS Preseason All-America Third Team – senior offensive lineman Seamus O’Neill and junior wide receiver R.J. Harris.

O’Neill, a Manchester Central grad and one of three UNH captains, was named to the All-Colonial Athletic Association First Team last year after starting all 12 games at left tackle for the Wildcats. He also earned All-America Honorable Mention from Beyond Sports Network. Harris was named to the All-CAA First Team last year as well after recording 84 receptions for 1,059 yards and nine touchdowns. Harris was second in the CAA in receptions per game (7.0) and receiving yards per game (88.2) and ranked third in touchdowns. He has also been named to the College Football Performance Awards FCS Wide Receiver Award Watch List.
